Do you think that bionics will have a positive or negative effect on the lives of most people?

Answers

Answer 1

Answer:

Bionics, also known as biomedical implants, are artificial additions to the human body. In most cases, these additions are meant to mimic the function of a nonfunctional body part, such as a limb or an eye. Some bionics, such as artificial limbs, have existed in one form or another for centuries. Newer innovations, such as cochlear implants, are still finding their place in society. Despite their positive aspects, bionics can have some negative societal effects.

Answer:

It has forever been a debate on whether or not students should continue doing the amount of homework they normally do, or if they should do less. Students worldwide are arguing that they are treated unfairly, that they should have a less amount of homework to do. Students already have to do a ton of schoolwork as it is, so why should they get the same amount of work for homework? According to a study by Stanford University and a story from Healthline and an interview from Priceton review, they all state, "students get increased anxiety because they get overwhelmed with the amount of schoolwork, essays and tests throughout the day and they have the same amount as homework" "More and more students are dropping out, skipping class and lowering there scores because they feel too overwhelmed with the amount of work they have to do everyday."

On the other hand, teachers think "it is not enough work". Teachers have said endlessly, "The more you know, the better." They believe that students should know as much as they can in order to succeed in life. But even parents argue that they don't get to spend as much time with their child because they are at school most of the day, and then they come home to do homework for the rest of the day. Students not only miss out on family time or a social life, but they get irregular sleep schedules and they have harder time focusing in class, because they are too tired from staying up all night doing homework.

So teachers say that knowledge is everyhting and that we need to learn as much as we can, but how can students do so if they are too tired to focus on what teachers are teaching? Students come in and sometimes even skip breakfast because they are too tired and even skip lunch and dinner! Students have no time for their family, no time for a social life and no time for themselves. It has even been reported that students become dehydrated and unfit because they will be working all day, that they forget to drink water or even exercise. So homework is causing so many health problems for these students, and they are getting no time for anything else in their life, and increase anxiety and even depression because they feel lonely and they don't what to fail, so they keep working. Students even get low self esteem because they don't even get to build one when they are busy 24/7. They don't get to go out and feel confident in themselves, when they are afraid of failing.

In conclusion, students are getting more homework than they should. When this happens, students get irregular sleep schedules, increased anxiety, and no time for themselves and loved ones. This causes health problems and lack of motivation to even have a social life. Students are neglecting to eat, and they are over working themselves by working 24/7.

Virtual learning is not as good as face-to-face learning because students do not have the same interaction with the teachers like in the real world. Students can also have more space to do their work as some people do not have good conditions to do their work in. Also students could get more fresh air from break time and have better interction with friends boosting mental health as well as physical health. Since the fresh air activates their brains they can do better work whilst at home some people may not even be bothered to do the work. During school students are not allowed on their phones and their isnt much distraction for them but at home anyone can be on their phone without being caught. One very important reason is that some may think up excuses to not go to meetings like "I didnt see the email or invitation" whilst at face-to-face school you cannot skip school with that kind of reason.Overall face-to-face classrooms are better than virtual classroom learning.

Who is Marta?

The author's purpose is to inform parents about childhood asthma; the style is formal. Hence, option D is correct.

What is asthma?

Asthma's side effects include lung damage. One of the most common chronic diseases in children is asthma, while it can also affect adults. Asthma symptoms that manifest at night or in the early morning hours include wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and coughing.

The most common risk factors for developing asthma are having an allergic condition, having a parent with asthma, having had a severe respiratory infection as a kid, having a parent with asthma, and being exposed to certain chemical irritants or industrial dusts at work.

Unfortunately, there is no recognized cure for asthma. As a result, after being exposed to triggers, you can get asthma symptoms. This is the situation, even if you don't frequently experience the symptoms.

Thus, option D is correct.

Should Teachers ever give students choices?

Answers

Answer:

Ah, this is a great topic!

Explanation:

Now of course, this answer will vary among different people. However, I say yes! Giving the students choices will make them feel more independent and that they have some say in what happens. This also may make them feel that the teacher trusts them more and engages with them. Within being in classes I have found that I personally like it when the teachers give us options. For example, ''Would you like to work with partners?'' Choices give the students the feeling of being important and like they have a say in what happens. Teachers who ask and engage with their students are typically more fun and understanding to the students. Therefor, I personally believe that teachers should give students choices.

Opposing Argument

No, teachers should not give kids choices. Teachers giving their students choices is a bad idea, the students can take advantage of the choices they have and use them to make bad choices. The teacher should be the one teaching and they should have a lesson planned out. Little kids often do not know what to pick, so it would take up more time within the day. Kids are should not be allowed to chose if they want to do something or not in school. The learning within the schools that day could be very limited. Therefor, I strongly believe, no, teachers should not provide the ability to students of allowing them to chose what they want to do.
