Answer 1

Answer:

part a is b and part d

Explanation:

Answer 2

Living on Mars will be less expensive than living on Earth is a central idea of "We're Going to Mars. “NASA's costs are much higher. It thinks that such a mission would ultimately cost $1 trillion.” is the detail best supports the answer to Part A. Hence, option B and D are correct.

What happened at the end of Mission to Mars?

The mission of InSight was deemed to be terminated by NASA on December 21 after two missing communications sessions, as per the criteria stated by the organization in November. Engineers came to the conclusion that the loss of communications started after the spacecraft's batteries were depleted, a situation known as "dead bus."

The categories of life, climate, geology, and readiness for human exploration best describe the agency's overarching objectives for Mars exploration.

Mars, a cold, dry, dusty planet with a thin atmosphere, is the fourth planet from the Sun. Along with having seasons, polar ice caps, canyons, extinct volcanoes, and evidence that it was once far more active, Mars is a dynamic planet.

Thus, option B and D are correct.

If you know the answers to the assessment questions you can put it in your answer :D

https://www.commonlit.org/texts/granuaile

Answers

Hope this helps btw we can’t tap on the link

In the article, the author connects Granuaile and the Queen by implying that although one is royalty, and the other a prisoner, they are equals. He support this in a few ways. When a courtier looks down upon her, she quickly corrects the girl by saying that where is from, she is just as powerful and important as the Queen. Once the two meet, "The two women looked each other straight in the eye. Each of them knew the other was strong, brave and fearless." In that moment, the author is saying that they acknowledged each other as equals. He continues and describes the how different they look, but how long they talk for despite how different the may seem. At the end, we can infer that the Queen respects Granuaile because she agreed to everything she asked for and more. Therefore, the author draws a connections between them by showing that despite where they came from, they are both equal to the other.

(12) Birds are some of the most unusual sleepers in the animal world. (13) Some have to migrate thousands of miles every year, and it leaves very little time for sleep. (14) The thrush is one bird that has found a way to survive with minimal sleep. (15) This bird lands briefly for short “micro-naps,” each lasting mere seconds, which is just long enough for it to re-energize for the next phase of the journey. (16) Some birds can even enter a form of sleep while flying, similar to the way underwater mammals can let half of their brain sleep while the other half is awake.
