can someone write me a research essay of 3 paragraphs ! (can be about anything )
Answer:
When online learning becomes more common and more and more resources are converted to digital form, some people have suggested that public libraries should be shut down and, in their place, everyone should be given an iPad with an e-reader subscription.
Proponents of this idea state that it will save local cities and towns money because libraries are expensive to maintain. They also believe it will encourage more people to read because they won’t have to travel to a library to get a book; they can simply click on what they want to read and read it from wherever they are. They could also access more materials because libraries won’t have to buy physical copies of books; they can simply rent out as many digital copies as they need.
However, it would be a serious mistake to replace libraries with tablets. First, digital books and resources are associated with less learning and more problems than print resources. A study done on tablet vs book reading found that people read 20-30% slower on tablets, retain 20% less information, and understand 10% less of what they read compared to people who read the same information in print. Additionally, staring too long at a screen has been shown to cause numerous health problems, including blurred vision, dizziness, dry eyes, headaches, and eye strain, at much higher instances than reading print does. People who use tablets and mobile devices excessively also have a higher incidence of more serious health issues such as fibromyalgia, shoulder and back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, and muscle strain. I know that whenever I read from my e-reader for too long, my eyes begin to feel tired and my neck hurts. We should not add to these problems by giving people, especially young people, more reasons to look at screens.
Second, it is incredibly narrow-minded to assume that the only service libraries offer is book lending. Libraries have a multitude of benefits, and many are only available if the library has a physical location. Some of these benefits include acting as a quiet study space, giving people a way to converse with their neighbors, holding classes on a variety of topics, providing jobs, answering patron questions, and keeping the community connected. One neighborhood found that, after a local library instituted community events such as play times for toddlers and parents, job fairs for teenagers, and meeting spaces for senior citizens, over a third of residents reported feeling more connected to their community. Similarly, a Pew survey conducted in 2015 found that nearly two-thirds of American adults feel that closing their local library would have a major impact on their community. People see libraries as a way to connect with others and get their questions answered, benefits tablets can’t offer nearly as well or as easily.
While replacing libraries with tablets may seem like a simple solution, it would encourage people to spend even more time looking at digital screens, despite the myriad issues surrounding them. It would also end access to many of the benefits of libraries that people have come to rely on. In many areas, libraries are such an important part of the community network that they could never be replaced by a simple object.
Explanation:
Sir, I agree to this Constitution with all its faults, if they are such, because I think a general Government necessary for us, and there is no form of
Government but what may be a blessing to the people if well administered, and believe farther that this is likely to be well administered for a course of years, and can only end in Despotism, as other forms have done before it, when the people shall become so corrupted as to need despotic Government, being incapable of any other. I doubt too whether any to have the advantage other Convention we can obtain, may be able to make a better Constitution. For when you assemble a number of men to have their joint wisdom, you inevitably assemble with those men, all their prejudices, their passions, their errors of opinion, their local interests, and their selfish views. From such an assembly can a perfect production be expected? It therefore astonishes me, Sir, to find this system approaching so near to perfection as it does; and I think it will astonish our enemies Thus I consent, Sir, to this Constitution because expect host The inanay no better, and because I am not sure, that it is not the best. The opinions I have had of its errors, I sacrifice to the public good. I have never whispered a syllable of them abroad. Within these walls they were born, and here they shall die. If every one of us in returning to our Constituents were to report the objections he has had to it, and endeavor to gain partisans in support of them, we might prevent its being generally received, and thereby lose all the salutary effects and great advantages resulting naturally in our favor among foreign Nations as well as among ourselves, from our real or apparent unanimity. Much of the strength and efficiency of any Government in procuring and securing happiness to the people, depends, on opinion, on the general opinion of the goodness of the Government, as well as of the wisdom and integrity

Read the following passage:
"Most people picture large, frightening events when they think of climate change: uncontrolled wildfires, severe storms, or deadly food and water shortages. Its small effects on the quiet normalcy of everyday life will be equally devastating, however. Research out today says we are at risk of losing coffee to climate change.
"Scientists at the Royal Botanic Gardens warn that more than 60 percent of coffee species are in danger of extinction. Coffee is threatened because it has strict temperature and rainfall needs, and its habitat is shrinking due to shifting weather patterns and deforestation. Plant scientists say citizens, corporations, and lawmakers must act now to establish new forest preserves and protect fragile species and their environments.
"Climate change skeptics and industry spokesmen say these worries are overblown fear-mongering because most of the plants in trouble are wild species, not the farmed varieties used by coffee makers. The scientists respond that the wild species will be needed if the crops used now can’t cope with warmer and drier conditions and the spread of diseases and pests that are predicted."

PART A: Which of the following statements best summarizes a theme of the text?
The story of david and goliath
A
Be kind to your enemies and you will triumph.
B
Never underestimate your opponents.
C
Brute strength cannot defeat faith and courage.
D
Slingshots are actually effectively weapons.
Answer:
C . Brute strength cannot defeat faith and courage.
Explanation:
Goliath is known to be a man of stature with great strength. However, the story of David is that, with faith that he can win, and with the courage to carry out the task, he can accomplish what is thought to be the impossible feat, which is to kill the champion of the Philistine army.
Some of the other answers are correct, but is not the best summary of the THEME in itself. For example, slingshots are truly effective weapons of it's day and age, being easy to train with and effective against not only unarmored but also poorly armored individuals. Highly trained slingshotters are able to hit unarmored parts, and proved to be extremely effective in certain cases. B is correct if you are to look through the lens of Goliath rather than David. On many accounts following his death, Goliath understimated his opponent, and even taunted the Israelite army for "sending out a dog to fight". He was sorely mistaken, and that led to his downfall.
A is the only answer that is definitely not correct, as there was no kindness involved, unless putting someone to eternal sleep is the hidden kindness for the pains of this world.

And if one of us was, what would the rest of the family do?”

"On duty at the Courthouse that night was forty-year-old Mathias Schaffer. Schaffer was showing some visitors around the tower when one of them pointed to smoke in the distance. Schaffer glanced at the smoke, but dismissed the sighting. It was just the smoldering embers from the previous night's fire, he assured them. Nothing to worry about."
"Several minutes passed before Schaffer looked up from what he was doing and saw flames leaping wildly into the black sky. The light was from a different fire after all; he'd been fooled because this new blaze was almost directly behind the still-flickering remnants of the Saturday October 7 fire."
What was the effect of Schaffer dismissing the sighting of smoke?
Answer:
A.
Explanation:
i just got it right
The effect of Schaffer dismissing the sighting of smoke is option A i.e. Schaffer failed to sound an alarm about the fire as soon as he saw it.
What is the role of Schaffer in story?Schaffer was showing a few guests around the pinnacle when one of them highlighted smoke somewhere far off. Schaffer looked at the smoke, yet excused the locating. It was only the burning hot coals from the earlier night's fire, he guaranteed them. Nothing to stress over.
A few minutes passed before Schaffer gazed upward from what he was doing and saw blazes jumping fiercely into the dark sky. The light was from an alternate fire all things considered.
He'd been tricked on the grounds that this new blast was straightforwardly behind the as yet glimmering leftovers of the Saturday October 7 fire.
This was as yet seven traffic lights from the O'Learys', yet close an adequate number of that firemen could see the flares and modify their direction.
Tragically, Schaffer's young right hand, William J. Brown, determinedly wouldn't strike Box 319, saying he was apprehensive it would confound what is going on.

why do you think colonists themselves British subjects rather than Americans
Answer:
For two reasons, early American colonists did not consider themselves "Americans": most were British citizens, and the term of "Americans" did not exist at the time. Even though the phrase became widely used (it was coined by British officials as a method to distinguish themselves), it wasn't considered a badge of honor until the Revolutionary War...and the consequent emergence of a new country independent of its overlords on the other side of the Atlantic.
