why do you think babies in the modern age have a better chance of survivial than babies in the 18th century

Answers

Answer 1

Answer:

I believe that babies in this modern age have a much better chance of survival than babies in the 18th century due to advances in technology and medical research.

In the 18th century, there were no vaccines for diseases and viral infections and the mortality child rate then was much higher than now. However, such is not the case now as much of those risks have either been eliminated totally or reduced to the barest minimum.

Even prematurely born babies have incubators and other medical devices which help them to survive.

3. What direction did humans have to travel to get from Asia to North America?

Answers

Answer:

Scientists have been pondering two possible routes for decades. One crawls along the Pacific Coast, weaving between the islands of southern Alaska; the other slips between two giant ice sheets, much further east and inland. In order to help figure out how plausible the first route is, a team of scientists wanted to measure how long ago ice sheets retreated from the coastline—and now they've done just that, as they report in a new paper published in the journal Science Advances. The new research suggests the route would have been accessible about 17,000 years ago.
